Sanity Zero ending (bad ending)

Trigger: repeatedly let Anomalies inside. Each mistake drops Sanity, the house starts hallucinating (graffiti, monsters, broken furniture), and at zero the run collapses.

Status: 🟡 community-reported — IGN's endings guide describes a third ending tied to zero Sanity, and Rock Paper Shotgun / Pro Game Guides both confirm the Sanity-death mechanic. Whether it shows a distinct ending screen or a generic game-over is unconfirmed.

The "Plumber Ending" (community-named)

Trigger: unverified. The phrase circulates in video titles, and the plumber visitor is real — he claims a leaky bath faucet; check the bathroom, and let him in only if it is leaking. Some creators imply a special outcome tied to him, but no source documents an ending name, final screen, or reproducible steps.

Status: 🟡 community-reported — the label appears in multiple video titles and guide pages; no checked source contains a trigger. We will not invent one.

Ending 4 (The Secret Basement Ending)

Trigger: Unlock the secret basement hatch between 2 AM and 4 AM, uncover the brother's lore notes on the workbench, and survive until 6 AM inside the basement.

Rock Paper Shotgun's list runs 25 entries because it adds extra forms (Classmate, Party Girl, Obby Player) plus the Goblin Stalker, a house jumpscare that never uses the door. Status: ✅ live and verified. Two massive updates transformed the game throughout August 2026:

• Ending 4 is officially unlocked: Update 4 (August 12) added the Secret Basement and the brother lore ending.
• New visitors arrived: Update 5 (August 19) added The Nun, The Faceless Man, The Slasher, and The Clown, alongside higher visitor frequency.
• New tools & QoL: Players now have CCTV camera zoom and pan controls, an in-game Visitor Index to log seen anomalies, and new badges.
• Codes remain inactive: Despite Milestones, no code redemption UI has been added — treat code generators as fake.

Survival Tips

• Learn the house before you open doors. The oven, sink, bath faucet, parents' bedroom, and backyard are all evidence — you cannot verify a claim you have no baseline for.
• Run a fixed chore route. Four random chores appear at a time; a repeatable loop beats improvising when a knock interrupts.
• Night vision is not optional. A third of all tells only appear with it on. Use Update 5's new camera zoom to spot distant irregularities.
